Hot Apple Butterscotch Crepes
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 (5 ounce) package ready-made French crepes, 9-inch
- 1 (20.5 ounce) can apple pie filling
- 1 (12 ounce) jar SMUCKER'SŪ Butterscotch Ice Cream Topping, heated according to package directions
- Whipped cream
- 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans*
Directions:
- Warm apple pie filling in a microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100 percent power) for 2 minutes.
- Place 8 crepes on a plate and cover with plastic wrap; microwave on HIGH 1 minute.
- Place crepe golden brown side down on individual serving plates.
- Spoon the filling down the center of each crepe, dividing the filling evenly.
- Fold one side over, covering most of the filling. Fold over the opposite side, overlapping the first fold.
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons butterscotch topping over each filled crepe, dollop with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Serve warm.
* To toast nuts: Toast the pecans in a dry non-stick skillet, cook over medium heat until lightly browned.
